An elegant collection of postcards, reprinted from original French work Les Poissons, which was an enormous study of fish created by H. Gervais and R. Boulart in 1876.
There are 10 postcards in the collection. The 10 fish represented are:
Rhombe Norwegian (Brill), Limandelle, Luparis, Pomatome Télescope, Asidophote d’Europe, Barracuda, Athérine Prètre (Sand Smelt), Motelle Vulgaire, Stromatée Fiatole (Blue Butterfish), Merluche.
The postcards are 10 x 15 cm, or 4 x 6 inches.
