This listing is for a print titled Le Lavandou, by Henri Cross. Le Lavandou is a seaside town with beautiful sandy beaches in the Côte d’Azur region, south of France, which provided Cross with much inspiration. Henri Cross was a well-known neo-impressionist French artist but some of his work is considered to be part of the art movement known as ‘fauvism’, as these post-impressionist artists were considered to be ‘fauves’ (wild beasts) by art critics.
