I love the subtlety of this print, with its muted shades of blues, purples and greens. The print is titled La Seine à Mantes (The Seine at Mantes) by Hippolyte Petitjean, 1910, who was a French post-impressionist painter. Petitjean also dabbled in the pointillist technique, as shown in this print. Mantes, located on the western outskirts of Paris, sits prettily on the curve of the Seine river.
